Ken began his career in 1980, as an agent working in the business marketplace. He was promoted to a development manager's position and spent the next eleven years performing various management roles. During this period, he was the Life Underwriting Training Council instructor for the Advanced Sales and Business Course in the Pittsburgh area. In 1991, Ken became a partner in Creative Asset Services, a firm specializing in estate planning and non-qualified benefits. While a partner in this firm, he completed planning and did analysis for such firms as Alcoa, USX, PPG, and the Federal Reserve Board. Ken opened the Appalachian Mountain Division in 1994, a subsidiary that focused its activities in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. In 1998, he started his own firm, Innovative Concepts, based in Pittsburgh, PA, with conference facilities through out the country. His firm has worked with businesses and individuals through out the country, providing estate planning services and non-qualified benefit programs. The firm specializes in working with proprietary programs that offer clients a creative and unique approach to solving many of today's perplexing financial situations.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. Ken is licensed in all areas of insurance, and has his Series 6 and 7 licenses allowing him to offer a full array of financial services. He is a Registered Representative with Securities America Inc. Ken has given a large number of seminars for realtor groups, charitable donors and financial planners, and he frequently speaks on the use of life insurance as a planning tool. Ken lives in South Park, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Geraldine.
